Over deze job

As a Media Account Manager, you directly report into the Client Service Director or Managing Director and work closely together with the (junior) account executives of your client team. You’re responsible for an optimal service delivery to appointed clients, through communication advice, developing and expanding service wherever possible.

In his role, you deliver high quality and innovative media, communication and marketing solutions to your clients. The solutions provided will add to the strategic online and offline marketing plans of the client.

Finally, as a Media Account Manager, you are responsible for the profitability and overall performance of your clients by monitoring closely the time spend of all involved team members on the account and optimise processes in order to reduce inefficiencies.

Wat zal je doen?

Client Services
  • Maintain and optimize the relationship with appointed customers;
  • Continuously deliver excellent service to the customer (product and service package);
  • Identify customer’s marketing needs and pro-actively act on these needs by means of consultative selling;
  • Develop and foster marketing, communication and media strategies and solutions based on customer’s needs and consult client on all mentioned items.
  • Develop agency point of views (POVs) on media opportunities for submission to the client.
  • Organize and participate in client meetings internally, at the client’s office and at the creative agency
  • Utilize and understand proprietary and syndicated research tools used for planning and reporting purposes
  • Follow the developments in the industry and relevant market segments;
  • Maintain contact and facilitates optimal collaboration between external parties such as operators and public city agents;
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other departments within OMD / OMG, such as all relevant parties with the Client Teams;

Result: Satisfied and loyal clients (externally and internally), that consider OMD as a business partner, which will add value and stimulate business growth.

Revenue on client package
  • Add to a positive revenue of sales of current and new services of OMD;
  • Develop account strategies and plans, in order to ultimately expand the total service package of OMD (products and services)
  • Follow up on agreements made with the client;
  • Monitor the deliverables derived from the plans, adjusts (budget) when needed;
  • Responsible for realizing client targets;
  • Responsible for performance regarding the service, fees and billing;
  • Add to the growth by actively realising new business projects with new and existing clients regarding online and offline (data, branded content and research);

Result: net revenue, profit and product growth of the customer package.

People Management
  • Functionally responsible for daily managing and output of assigned client(s)
  • Responsible for and monitor timely progress, optimal production and quality of output and operation;
  • Responsible for the qualitative and quantitative output of employees and other resources within the budget of the client;
  • Show leadership through communication, transparent feedback and disseminates norms and values of the organisation;
  • Work closely with the other client team members and ensure optimal and efficient collaboration and distribution of work in order to attain common goals.

Result: A well-managed and motivated client team, capable of coming up to agreements, goals and tasks all-in order to attain optimal revenue, as agreed upon.

Wie je bent

  • Master degree in advertising, marketing or communication
  • At least 5 years of experience in the media
  • Love working with colleagues and being in touch with various clients
  • Have expertise of the media landscape, media planning and/or media buying
  • Feel comfortable presenting
  • Think out of the box and initiate novel ideas
  • Communicate fluently in Dutch/French and English, both in written and spoken conversations
